This is the change log of Earn From Nigeria. It lists corrections and major changes in date order, newest first. To report a mistake, write to contact@earnfromnigeria.com. How we work: methodology and how we use AI.
7 November 2026
- Since January 2026 PayPal has let people in Nigeria receive payments through Paga; pages that said it could not are corrected.
- Payoneer guides: replaced fees and bank rankings we could not source with the figures on Payoneer’s pricing page.
- A UK transfer page said it had no affiliate links and it did; corrected.
- Changed the description of our publisher: it also runs guides for other countries, so the words “independent website” were not accurate.
- Changed “guides from our editorial team” to plain lists of links: guides are drafted with AI assistance.
2 November 2026
- We replaced the sentence “Commissions do not decide what we cover”, which was not accurate: the offers we highlight with a link come from programs that pay us a commission. The new wording is in the affiliate disclosure and the methodology.
- We removed 70 sentences, list items and FAQ answers with prices, rates or earnings that had no date or source in the same sentence.
- We removed statements that Wise delivers dollars from freelance platforms to a Nigerian bank (Wise does not give residents of Nigeria USD account details) and a comparison that recommended Wise for that purpose, and we added dates to the Payoneer fee figures.
- We added the methodology, the AI page and this corrections log.
30 October 2026
- We removed promises of earnings, star ratings without a source, price claims and discount boxes we could not source, superlatives about payment services, and sections on forex trading and crypto or NFT investing.
- We removed titles and descriptions that promised a test we had not run.
29 October 2026
- We removed all tracked links to Preply, because the program terms do not allow what we had published.
- We removed first-person experience claims (“my experience”, “I personally use”) and invented tests from the guides where they appeared, and the NordVPN and hosting boxes with discounts and speeds we could not source.
27–28 October 2026
- We withdrew three VPN reviews that contained speed tests we had not run, reorganised the site (about 1,000 older guides with no readers were retired and their addresses redirect to the closest guide) and removed the Pidgin section, which had no readers.
26 October 2026
- We removed Wise as a way to receive USD in Nigeria: Wise does not offer USD account details to residents of Nigeria, and the Wise card is not issued to residents of Nigeria (Wise Help Centre, checked 26 October 2026). Wise remains described for money sent to Nigeria from abroad.
21 October 2026
- We removed the named author profile and the invented personal experiences. Pages are signed “Earn From Nigeria Editorial”.
